This is the first post in my new blog. I’ve created this blog especially for my Underwater Photography hobby.

I’ve been Scuba Diving for 2 years now, and decided I want to be an Underwater Photographer, and go all over Australia and the world taking photos and sharing them with others.

To start with, I’m going to do an Underwater Photography Course, and do some research on Underwater Digital cameras. I will be taking the course about mid October, so in the meantime, I’ll gather information on the cameras, and display it here for my readers to benefit from too.

Once, I start taking photos, I’ll post them here on my blog, along with some information, and tell stories about my trips! Here’s a sample of what I want to take photos of..

This is a Spotted Wobbegong Shark, (Orectolobus maculatus), at Moreton Bay Marine Park, Queensland Australia. We call these docile (unless someone provokes them) creatures “Wobbies”. They are well known in many Australian waters, and usually lie camouflaged on the sand or among rocks. I have accidentally touched one, and he hardly flinched.
