TravelNotes says this about Scuba Diving Vacation in Cozumel
“What could I expect to see? In Cozumel, there’s so much marine life it’s endless. It has over 16 abundant scuba diving reefs and is known for the second largest reef in the world. It is also known to be the second best dive place in the world. You can see so many varieties of fish from teensy weenie ones to ones the size of a human (groupers). Common and exciting to see are moray eels, nurse sharks (harmless), barracudas, crabs, lobsters, sting rays and the list goes on. Here are a few pictures of actual sightings in Cozumel waters”

Dive Paradise have the most beautiful photos taken of marine life at the reefs of Cozumel, and also a photo of the wrecked ship Felipe Xicotencatl. Scuba Diving Photos Cozumel
There are 17 dive sites on the island. Aqua Safari describe a few of the dive sites they visit with people on Scuba Diving Vacation at Cozumel
There is a wrecked ship at Cozumel, which was sunk on purpose to create an artificial reef, to create another attraction for scuba divers, so there wouldn’t be quite so many visiting the nearby reefs. The ship’s name was Felipe Xicotencatl and is 184 feet long and 33 feet wide.

GoCozumel.com have a map of Cozumel Island with all the dive sites on it. There are reef sites, walls, and caves.
This is what one of the Scuba Divers says about a Scuba Diving Vacation with SeaUrchinDive.
“We recently got back from a week long trip to Cozumel. We like to get the most of our diving dollar too, and went with Sea Urchin Dive (http://www.seaurchindive.com) and their lodging package. For us, it ended up being $50 per two tank dive and $20 per night per person for accomodations. Sea Urchin Dive uses the small 6-8 person dive boats. As for dive experience, we had a great time. Can’t compare to other dive ops, but we felt that we got our money’s worth with Sea Urchin. We did 16 dives with them. Jorge was very accomodating with us. And at times, we were the only divers they took out too.”
