    Bonaire and Buddy Dive Resort

    by MLS, May 1-9-2004

This was our (my cousin and I) 6th dive trip, and by far the best one. Bonaire has so many dive sites to choose from both by boat, and by shore. You will not be sorry if you choose Bonaire and Buddy Dive as your next trip. My u/w pics are being developed and I will add them here when I get them back.

The Hotel: A true dive resort that caters to your every need. But one thing you might be aware of, all the beds are twins unless you get a suite. They are way to narrow for me! Pool was kinda small but I didn’t hang out there to much. Whenever you needed help, they were always there. They made sure everything was to the guests satisfaction. Say hi to Lisa(operations manager) if you go. She will never forget us I’m sure.

Scuba Diving Vacation at Grand Turk, Turks and Caicos

Mark from Seattle, at Grand Turk, Turks and Caicos

This is a written report from my just completed dive trip to Grand Turk, Turks and Caicos… For those of you who don’t know where that is, or never heard of the T&C Islands, it’s located East of Cuba, North of the Dominican Republic/Haiti, and South of the Bahamas… Grand Turk is known for world class wall diving with depths down to 7,000 feet…

    It’s a very small island, only 6 miles long and 1 1/2 miles wide…
Scuba diving is the main attraction, with not much else to do… But that’s why I went there…

South West Rocks – Fish Rock Cave

    Saturday, April 22nd, 2006

FISH ROCK CAVE DEPTH 12 TO 24 METRES

The craggy island of Fish Rock is no indication of the splendor that lies underneath. At 120 metres long, and well known as one of the largest ocean caverns in the southern hemisphere, FISH ROCK CAVE has attracted divers worldwide. Enter the deep end of the cave at a depth of 24 metres where thousands of bullseyes hang suspended. Swim into the tunnel entrance over huge wobbegong sharks and a large bull ray resting on the bottom. You will pass by clusters of live cowry shells, a large Spanish dancer, bryozoan lace coral and sea cucumbers to name but a few.

    Julian Rocks, Byron Bay

    Friday, June 3rd, 2005

I just went for my BEST dive ever!! Even the dive leader who’s been diving about 40 yrs said he’d give it a 9 out of 10.

We saw just about every fish that it’s possible to see at Julian Rocks, and soooo many and sooo BIG!!!

The first dive we went out from the rocks to a deeper dive site named Spot Ex. We’d only swam a couple of feet and saw this magnificent Black Cod, which was almost as long as I am tall ( about 5 foot ).

I scanned some photos in from a poster which came from the NSW department of Primary Industries. John shared Ruth’s camera with another guy, who’s going to send me the photos. More about a Scuba Diving Vacation at Byron Bay
