The Nikon D2X is an upmarket camera for those who earn a living taking photos, or for real enthusiasts. From the reviews, it sounds like an excellent camera. Be careful about buying it from someone who advertises it for less than $4999 because that’s the going price. The Nexus D2 Digital SLR Housing is used for the Nikon D2x Scuba Diving Camera.

The Ikelite Auto 35 is a very cheap Scuba Diving camera, starting price is US$125 including the housing.
Surprisingly, this camera doesn’t appear to have any reviews on it yet. I found one page at Underwaterplanet, where Chris Menjou mentions the Ikelite Auto 35 and even displays a photo taken with it. Pretty good photo too.
